Why do I have recurring acne?

A disturbance in the skin's barrier function causes the stratum corneum to thicken and clog pores.

The clogged sebum becomes a food source for the growth of acne bacteria.

The sebum is broken down by the acne bacteria and free fatty acids (the bad guys that cause inflammation) are produced.

In the inflamed area, melanocytes are activated, which can lead to acne scarring.

How to use

After applying lotion, dispense a single amount into your hand.

Gently and carefully blend from the center of the face outward, starting with the forehead and other large areas.
